4D graphics is a branding/advertising package, commissioned by UCLA A.UD, to promote the UCLA Suprastudio program.
Initiated as a poster-design project, 4D graphics questions the role of three-dimensionality, point of view, and time as a possible medium for curated communication. Developing two-dimensional concepts of posters into a 3D object, this project investigates the possibilities of a non-linear/non-single-perspectival interaction with traditional signs. Moving beyond three-dimensionality, 4D graphics explores time as an active agent in the "poster design" through curated camera path and dynamically unfolding time-based qualities, embedded into the design of the project.
